Located along the borders of Tempe and Scottsdale in northwest Mesa, Mesa Country Club is a traditional gem in every sense.
A parkland layout set among towering eucalyptus and pines, the holes move left and right on this 6,900-yard, par 72 routing.
Unlike other clubs in the Valley, Mesa Country Club skirts up and down the plateau from which the city got its name, creating dramatic elevation changes throughout the twists and turns of the course.
This topography – combined with a club campus which includes dining, lighted tennis & pickleball, a pool, and more – makes Mesa Country Club the home for discerning players from Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, and Phoenix.
Member owned and operated with access limited to Members and their guests, the MCC culture begins and ends with great golf.
Equity, Seasonal and Social Members are currently being accepted.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have prior leadership experience in food and beverage.
Have current knowledge of common drink mixture and bar operations.
Have a pleasant personality and exhibit a good attitude in order to deal with all patrons.
Must maintain current food handler’s card and Title 4 Liquor Certification for the State of Arizona.
Must be able to take orders and accommodate billing for all items ordered by patrons.
Must be at least 19 years of age.
REPORTS TO: Director of Clubhouse Operations PRIMARY DUTIES: Set up supplies and inspect bar/restaurant area prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available and in place.
Hold staff accountable and make sure they stay on task.
Request additional supplies from supervisor as needed.
Greet all guests within 2 minutes upon their entry and ask for their orders.
Continuously interact with members and guests to ensure appropriate service levels are met.
Create, maintain, and ensure tickets are signed by members with their account number.
Report any patron complaints to supervisor.
Maintain a clean and tidy bar/restaurant area.
Maintain records of liquor, beer, wine, tobacco, and sundries to ensure proper stock is always maintained.
Report any needs to supervisor.
Clean and lock up bar and clubhouse area according to prescribed procedures.
Ensure appropriate opening and closing duties are completed in a timely manner.

Needs to take orders and facilitate proper billing for each patron or group of patrons.

Follow up on guest needs after their order has been delivered.

Help with setup for daily grill and dining room use as well as special events.
Besides these primary responsibilities there may be other specific tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Keep the dinning a bar area clean and tidy.
Help develop service standards.
Help develop food and beverage menu offerings and special events.
Take part and developing and delivering F&B Training.
