Description:
We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to participate and learn all activities related to managing job sites for large-scale industrial, commercial, multi-family, and/or institutional projects.
The Field Engineer will assist Superintendents in cost management, scheduling, quality assurance, and risk management.
Responsibilities
Assist with coordinating the efforts of multiple trades.
Participate in project inspections and complete daily reports.
Monitor progress of work and notify Superintendent of any delays.
Assist with communication and coordination with municipal officials.
Assist with project punch-list and oversee completion of all project disciplines.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, or related degree.
Zero to two years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably in multi-family and/or commercial/industrial buildings.
Carpentry or other construction experience a plus.
Able to communicate effectively and work productively with others.
Other success factors include attention to detail, problem solving, reliability, initiative, positive attitude, professionalism, and an eagerness to learn.
Ability to use construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
Ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office 365.
