You will work closely with the General Manager to uphold brand standards, drive sales, and provide a delightful experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
From supervising staff and managing inventory to delivering top-notch customer service, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment where customers can indulge in our delectable offerings.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bakery operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
* Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
* Drive sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and promotional strategies.
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
* Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and reconciliations.
* Collaborate with the General Manager to implement operational improvements and achieve business goals.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bakery environment for customers and staff.
*Qualifications:* * Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with cash handling procedures.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (ServSafe certification is a plus).
* Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
