The Crew Lead holds an important role with the Enchant team.
Reporting to the Construction Lead, they will be responsible for the building of all structural elements.
They must be able to interpret design drawings, communicate, install methodologies and lead a team while managing a tight schedule.
COMMITMENT: Dates may change based on location
Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Install, Run-of-Show, and Load-out.
This includes the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Must commit to the entire production run from the pre-event to the load-out
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
Lead the crews safely and efficiently throughout the install, run of show, and load out
Review drawings and install procedures with the Construction Lead prior to directing teams
Determine and assign the tools & equipment required to perform each scope of work
Provide progress updates daily to the Construction Lead
Work closely with other Crew Leads to coordinate labor for projects
Ensure all assets and structures are properly and safely installed
Place and secure ballast requirements as needed
General site tidiness
Record and report any damage to person or property during the operation
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
Experience in Event / Entertainment industry
Proficiency in fabrication & assembly methodologies woodworking, metalworking, and rigging
Ability to operate aerial lift equipment (scissor, boom lift, etc.
)
Ability to lead multiple labor crews
Adaptability
Strong understanding of fabrication tools and hardware
Highly organized and detail oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.
Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.
Frequently operates machinery and/or power tools.
Enchant is an outdoor event, and subject to local winter weather.
Must dress accordingly and be prepared.
CERTIFICATIONS:
OSHA 10 certification (required)
Aerial Lift Certification (preferred)
