This role oversees the effectiveness of the restaurant’s operations and makes recommendations on modifying strategies and procedures and will be heavily steeped in planning, organizing and delivering genuine guest service excellence.
Operational agility in high volume environments is essential to the success of this role, as is delivering strong revenues.
This person is tasked with providing elevated, nuanced and collaborative leadership to all unit Managers and Executive Chefs.
This highly visible *role is based in Phoenix, AZ* and is key in our continued growth.
We are actively adding new stores, with our announcement of 4 new stores over next 2 years with the commitment of national growth to follow.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF GENERAL MANAGER* * Provide consistent and visible leadership to management and employees while generating a restaurant atmosphere focused on great hospitality where the expectations of the guests are exceeded routinely.
* Ensure all management and service teams are focused on exceeding standards related to: food quality and excellence, facility cleanliness, maintenance practices and service procedures.
* Ensures that operational and training standards are consistently followed and executed by the management teams.
* The General Manager will evaluate operations and utilize a diverse group of resources to improve and maintain practices and systems.
* Responds to guest concerns, both written and verbal, with the ability to creatively solve challenges.
* Support company HR objectives by ensuring General Managers, Managers, and Chefs are committed to recruiting, hiring, training and retaining high quality service, kitchen and management teams.
* Train, develop, and mentor other members of the management team through daily coaching opportunities, individualized quarterly goals and exercising emotional maturity.
* Deliver the agreed financial objectives of the business through the effective management of people and service, goods and facility maintenance.
Priority focus on revenues and budgeted profit objectives and set goals.
* Engage with Executive Team and Accounting Department in managing all financial responsibilities including P&L performance and analysis, troubleshoot challenges and opportunities while utilizing support teams in developing appropriate solutions to identified opportunities.
* Support and direct the management teams to develop policies and procedures which ensure the achievement of financial goals: cash flow, revenue growth, management of cost of goods sold, inventories, labor costs and all operating expenses on a daily basis.
* Supporting teams with developing appropriate solutions to identified problems.
* Facilitates all necessary inspections and facility audits; develops and implements necessary plans of actions.
* General Manager collaborates with marketing, advertising, and any other special restaurant functions in the development of local marketing promotions or public relations on behalf of the location.
*KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS* * 3 - 5 plus years of General Manager experience in an $800K+ monthly sales environment or multiple unit restaurant experience * Strong ability to analyze financial data, diagnose issues and coach the operations team on next steps * Excellent people management and leadership skills, including resolving conflict, coaching and developing, promoting teamwork, and performance management * Proven track record in leading hospitality operations to meet sales and exceed profitability objectives * Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills If this is you, please submit your resume! *^UPON BEING HIRED, WE VERIFY THE LEGAL AUTHORIZATION OF ALL EMPLOYEES TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES^* *COMPENSATION AND BENEFIS PACKAGE:* * Competitive salary $80k - $90k - GM position eligible for bonus opportunity * Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance * 2 Weeks Paid time off at third year 3 Weeks Paid time off * Dining Discount (100% at all Concepts) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.
