*Position Summary:* We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our accounting team and provide support to the Director of Accounting & CFO by managing daily accounting tasks.
You must be a driven and flexible person who is willing to perform a variety of tasks as needed and ideally a quick learner.
You must have the desire to work in a fast-paced and supportive team environment that contributes to the overall efficient operation of the accounting department.

*Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:* _*(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)*_ *Responsibilities:* * Supervises the team by interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training team members, and manages their performance in accordance with Company policies, values, and business practices.
* Managing and overseeing the daily operation of the accounting department * Establishes annual goals and objectives.
* Establishes workflows and assigns duties for effective and efficient completion of tasks.
* Implements process and procedural improvements to streamline work and increase productivity.
* Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end * Ability to teach/train employees on new process improvements.
* Manage, streamline and ensure processes, procedures and directives for the accounting department adhered to; facilitate problem solving; and keep communication lines open between responsible parties with minimal direction.
* Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
* Review adjusting journal entries.
* Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
* Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
* Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
* Ensure the monthly closing of accounting are accurate and timely.
* Administer efficient, controlled, and technology-enabled AP and disbursement processes.
* Ensure effective and controlled cash management.
* Tracking your past, current, and estimated future cash flow * Making recommendations to business stakeholders * Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:* * A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
CPA or CPA track preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software preferred.
* 5 years of accounting experience * 3 years of management experience * Ability to work independently and to communicate effectively both orally and via written reports and analysis.
* Prior experience with multiple entities desired.
* Understanding the complexities with CPG Accounting * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization * Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
* Advance experience in Excel *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:* * Integrity * Self-confidence * Presentation skills * Excellent work ethic * People Builder * Strong attention to detail Requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve complex problems.
Requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds (occasional up to 25#).
