We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our team and oversee the company's accounting and financial reporting functions.
This position is a key role, reporting to the Assistant Controller.
Responsibilities:
Aid in managing the company's accounting and financial reporting processes, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and financial statement preparation
Oversight of accounts payable function
Management of daily cash, treasury services
Month End close responsibilities.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in accounting practices and processes
Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff
Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
Other duties as assigned
Vista by Viewpoint software experience a plus
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
7+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, with at least 3 years in a management role
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
Knowledge of industry regulations and financial best practices
Familiarity with construction accounting and job costing
