The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization, Vertical Lift Division is seeking a Lead Tooling Stress Analyst Engineer to join our Tooling Stress team in Mesa, AZ.
We provide direct support on a wide range of Boeing Defense products.
Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.
The Lead Tooling Stress Analyst Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity development projects.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on production tooling for various Boeing Defense programs.
Position Responsibilities: Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling.
Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
Develops and implements work-around and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.
S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.
S.
confidential clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
10 years or more of experience in structural analysis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3 years or more of experience in/with production tooling.
5 years or more of experience in/with computer aided design packages (NX preferred).
5 years or more of experience in/with Finite Element Modeling (Patran preferred).
Typical Education/Experience: Level 5 Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.
g.
Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
g.
PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for senior level: $136,000 - $184,000.
