Summary: Participate in the operations of an out-patient physical therapy department including patient care, functional abilities testing (“lifts”), administration, employee management, and confidential medical record management.
Responsibilities:
Evaluations and assessments as per the State Physical Therapy Practice Act, determining a plan of care, supervising ancillary staff, and medical charting
On-site essential job function assessments and the development and supervision of an objective and unbiased test of a person’s ability to safely complete those tasks with proper mechanics.
Patient and provider scheduling
Routine data analysis
Hiring, interviewing, and training of PT staff
Typing/computer use, phone work, and project management
Ensuring confidentiality under HIPAA law, insurance authorizations, and filing.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

S.
Degree, Masters Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Must have a license (in good standing) or diploma to practice physical therapy from the State of Arizona.
Current CPR documentation
Flexibility to travel between sites as needed.
