JOB DESCRIPTION Company: Verde Clean Position: Transitions Director Location: Arizona Department: Operations Reporting To: Vice President of Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Date: July 2023 GENERAL PURPOSE The Transitions Director is responsible for ensuring all account acquisitions, transitions, or mergers are planned and carried out in a timely manner and within budget.
Works with the Transitions Manager to ensure all parties involved with the transition are updated on its progress.
Spots any transition-related issues and creates effective solutions to resolve them swiftly.
Ensures company transitions meet and exceed company and client’s expectations.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provides best practice for due diligence, integration planning, and execution to reduce integration timelines and maximize synergy capture.
Keeps constant correspondence with a multitude of interested parties including executives, clients, contractors, vendors, departmental heads, and stakeholders to help them implement changes, or to seek out information.
Manages all requests for change to include collecting and reviewing incoming requests for change, consults with executives or experts about possible implications of the proposed changes and approves or denies the requests.
Works with the Transitions Manager to set strategic direction for assets and company integrations during and after transitions.
Works with Transitions Manager to coordinate all transitions functions and tasks for the company, such as technological, operational, and governance changes.
Provides company-wide guidance during unplanned changes.
Responsible for minimizing or eliminating any additional associated costs or risks for the company during transitions.
Advises invested parties of possible concerns, as well as make recommendations about the best solutions for change management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains staff in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handles discipline and termination of department staff in accordance with company policy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or a similar field, preferred.
Experience in lieu of education may be considered depending on position or location.
At least five (5) years' experience in transition management, project manager, or related experience, preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience, managing direct reports, required.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook.
PowerPoint).

Ability to travel within assigned region.
