Production Team Leader/Supervisor_Nights- Sun-Wed 8:00pm-6:00am

APEL Extrusions Inc.
has an immediate opening for a Night Shift Team Leader/Supervisor.
The position will train on Day Shift until they and the crew are ready to transition to nights.
The Night Shift Team Leader/Working Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all production employees for that shift, coordinating with Management on daily requirements and establishing plans to accommodate those goals with their production team.
The Night Shift Team Leader will insure and enforce the adherence to all APEL safety guidelines, work instructions, and job requirements.
The Night Shift Team Leader is also expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments, communicate requirements, and provide direction to their production team.
Duties and responsibilities Has a full working knowledge of all the equipment associated to this job.
To review and follow the work order and best practice requirements.
To adhere and promote all safety requirements.
Has a good working knowledge of Aluminum Standard Tolerances.
Can read and understand dimensional prints.
Can operate all measuring devises required in this position.
Will comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our QMS and ISO requirements.

Communicates and interacts with others well and effectively.
A working knowledge of other press responsibilities is preferred.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications A High School degree or equivalent is preferred.
Working Environment Exposed to a production environment which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts and fluctuations in temperature.
Direct reports The Night Shift Team Leader position reports directly to the Extrusion Manager.
