Working as Highland Cabinetry Warehouse Director is a fast paced and challenging position that oversees multiple lines within our warehouse production.
You will oversee our stocking team, our picking team, our assembly line and staging crew, our Customer pick up team as well as our freight and delivery team.
Warehouse Director Job Responsibilities: Accomplishes warehouse operations by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching employees.
Oversees distribution, warehousing, and shipping.
Build detailed reporting workflows for each department consisting of daily KPI's, progress metrics throughout the day, production increase opportunities, and conduct daily, weekly and monthly reporting and appropriate coaching to various teams.
Meets warehouse operations by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage.
Manages warehouse operations by stock control, inventory management, and motivating employees.
Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
Develops warehouse operations systems by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes.
Achieves warehouse operations by contributing recommendations and following policies.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Supervise daily activities of the warehouse managers, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED 5+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees 2+ years experience with Oracle NetSuite Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Systems experience Ability to work with all levels of company staff Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
