Job Description The Sr.
Associate / Associate Asset Manager will be responsible for asset managing a portfolio of LandCo’s nationwide investments.
The position is ideally suited for a highly motivated, detail oriented individual with a solid asset management / land development background.
This individual should have the desire to be a part of a rapidly expanding program, and work within a team of other highly motivated individuals.
This position will require significant travel.
The individual will likely need to be located in Arizona.
Key responsibilities: Responsible for overall project oversight post-closing Complete property inspections as part of monitoring project performance, horizontal land development progress and budget tracking Analyze project financials and performance metrics to monitor asset risk Conduct market research and analysis to obtain local market knowledge of competitor offerings, positioning, location, and market supply and demand trends Problem solve project and portfolio level development issues through research and analysis Contribute to monthly and quarterly portfolio reports for Investment Committee, Investors and Senior Management Assist in the due diligence and underwriting of potential transactions (analyze builder Pro Forma / budget, attend site visit, provide input on local market conditions, etc.
) Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks Following are the requirements for the position: Experience in single-family asset management and / or residential land development Bachelor’s degree (prefer real estate, business or finance) High proficiency in MS Excel and other MS applications required Ability and willingness to become Notary Strong management skills, with an ability to work independently and multitask Highly motivated, with a positive "can do" attitude Ability to think like an owner in all decision making Willingness to travel Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
