Volunteer Services Manager Primary Location: Sun City West, Arizona (Relocation not provided) Work Hours: 40 hours week Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm Rate of Pay: $23.
41 ph What will you be doing? Developing and supervising the volunteer services department to include all points of the volunteer life cycle: agency needs assessment, recruitment, interviewing, orientation, placement, recognition and retention.
The position will identify and implement a comprehensive action plan to strengthen and enhance the volunteer services program to impact all areas of the Benevilla programs.
The Volunteer Services Manager will build a strategic, engaged volunteer experience and will cultivate long-term relationships to drive the Benevilla mission.
What qualifications do you need? Bachelor’s degree in social services, nonprofit management or resource management preferred and one (1) to two (2) years of proven experience in volunteer management and recruitment in non-profit organizations.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to meet people with ease, communicate one-on-one and in group settings.
Promote team building and experience in a leadership role required.
Possess excellent written communication skills, time management, public speaking and presentation skills.
Ability to be self-managed, meet deadlines, monitor and report team outcomes and goal analysis.
Required knowledge of computer systems and the ability to work with word processing, data management, and spreadsheet and data analysis programs.
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
