SUMMARY
Incumbents lead and participate in the work of a small group of Service Workers and/or Streets Equipment Operators engaged in the repair and maintenance of streets, alleys, and drainage systems.
Work assignments are received orally or in writing by a Streets Supervisor who reviews work through on-site inspections or reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, and three years of directly-related maintenance experience.
Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a Class A Arizona Commercial Driver License.
SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview.
