HR Director – Job Description Position: HR Director Location: Arizona Job Type: Full-Time Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience.
Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring.
Strong knowledge of data analysis and reporting.
Unwavering commitment to ethical standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
In-depth understanding of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with discretion.
Exceptional ability to work well under pressure and as a team player.
Skilled in responding to government and regulatory agencies.
Expertise in Arizona Employment Law with meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: HR Analytics & Strategic Planning Drive the collection, tracking, and analysis of HR data, presenting insights and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
Develop and maintain a structured framework for reporting HR metrics to inform decision-making at Leadership meetings.
Implement effective systems for HR data management, proposing structural improvements to optimize operations.
Conduct and manage periodic assessments for all personnel.
Collaborate with managers and Directors to enhance employee management/relations.
Integrate systems and processes that align with business goals and projections.
Conduct market research for compensation benchmarks to inform salary and bonus cycles.
Develop HR strategies that support the organization's objectives and reflect its core values.
Recruitment, Talent Acquisition & Compliance: Develop and implement innovative and diversity-inclusive recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Maintain a consistent hiring pipeline to meet quarterly hiring goals that are inclusive and bias-free.
Leverage various sourcing methods including social media, networking, and employee referrals to fill open positions.
Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop role-specific criteria.
Ensure all departments adhere to legal standards and regulations.
Stay updated on legal and industry trends, modifying HR policies to maintain compliance.
Manage personnel files in accordance with legal requirements.
Compensation, Benefits, & Performance Management: Oversee the design and implementation of compensation and benefits packages within budgetary constraints.
Manage all aspects of employee time tracking, including leave requests and accruals.
Implement performance evaluation procedures, conduct annual reviews, and create development plans based on performance data.
Organizational Leadership & Development, Onboarding, & Training: Align structural and process development with company values and goals.
Engage in succession planning, employee relations, and developmental strategies across departments.
Coordinate with Leadership to refine staffing, retention, and training methodologies.
Create immersive onboarding experiences for new hires, facilitating orientations and 90-day follow-up interviews.
Continuing Education, Employee Relations, & Retention: Develop strategies for ongoing employee education and professional development.
Maintain records for Continuing Education and licensing across relevant states.
Provide guidance on compliance and workplace changes.
Foster a workplace environment characterized by respect and open communication.
Facilitate conflict resolution in alignment with company values.
Advise directors on disciplinary and termination procedures.
Drive initiatives to retain, develop, and engage employees, including regular assessments and conducting exit interviews.
The HR Director will play a crucial role in the strategic and operational management of the BUF's human resources function, ensuring that HR practices are innovative, legally compliant, and aligned with our mission and values.
