We plan to offer a variety of swimming lessons and activities for various ages and ability levels.
The pool will open May 25th, 2024.
Our hours are 12pm-7pm seven days a week through July 2024.
Our extended season will run through the month of August, weekends only from 12pm-7pm.
We are recruiting for the 2024 part-time summer Pool Manager position.
Certifications required.
SALARY Pool Manager $21.
00 per hour MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years old to apply.
Requires the following certifications: Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED, and WSI (Water Safety Instructor).
We will accept certifications from Starfish Aquatic Institute (SAI), YMCA, American Red Cross (ARC), and Ellis & Associates (ELLIS).
JOB BRIEF: Pool Managers will coordinate swim lessons and oversee the work of our lifeguards.
Pool Managers will also perform routine supervision and general maintenance within the pool facility.
This will include vigilant scanning of guests, general maintenance tasks, and functions to ensure the facility runs smoothly at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling staff, training lifeguards, ensuring the safety of pool guests, supervising swimmers, and performing daily and periodic maintenance of the facility including chemical checks, patio furniture care, deck cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
ABILITY TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: Work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends amounting to 40 hours/week.
Be in good physical condition as lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, and physical endurance are required for performance of duties.
Prevent accidents through the enforcement of policies and rules and perform rescue procedures for anyone in trouble.
Provide emergency care to guests in emergency situations (i.
e.
, CPR, Rescue Breathing, and/or first aid).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Preferred at least one summer working as a lifeguard and 6 months of work experience in a customer service related field.
About PERA: We are an 83 acre Recreational Facility for SRP employees and their guests.
PERA has been in business for more than 65 years.
In 2019 we built a brand new facility that includes meetings rooms, an employee store, fitness center, a bar, and full service kitchen for catering events.
