Why? – Sadly, I have some aches and pains that could be managed with medication, but the shelter isn't able to provide the medical care I need.

I’m a 6yr old, 75lb, Neutured Male, Brown/Black German Shepherd.
I am a sweet and gentle boy! I love all people – adults and kids.
I walk well on leash, love to play ball and am potty trained.
I was adopted for a short time and was returned because sometimes I have a limp or am slow to rise.
It is likely due to arthritis or maybe valley fever.
Both of which can be managed with medication.
The shelter recommends if I go to a home with other dogs that I be given plenty of time to decompress from the shelter before slowly introducing us.
Introductions should be slow paced, short (5-10 minutes), repeated, supervised, and ending on a positive note.
Having a manageable medical condition is no reason for my life to end.
