UP FOR SALE IS A Brand new un-played Fujikura Ventus Blue 5R Regular driver or fairway wood shaft, that doesn't have any scratches, paint chips or razor blade marks where the grip goes, it is brand new, uncut at 46 inches long, without the sleeve installed, which most will add another 1/2 inch to the length and I will install at time of purchase, with the trademark installed at the neutral setting so that the trademark will be down at address at the 6:00 a.

All of the sleeves are listed below the main listing information and how much each sleeve adds to the overall length of the shaft, most add 1/2 inch but there are some that add more, so adding at least a 1/2 inch makes this shaft 44 3/4 inches long which will after adding the head adds another 1 1/2 inch in most applications, so then the driver will be 45 3/4-46 1/2 inches long depending on your particular club, or if you want this shaft the same as your present shaft, you need to remove it from
your head and measure it from the end of the sleeve to the end of the grip and email or text that measurement to me and I will make it the same length.
The Ventus shafts are the hottest on the tour today and after measuring this shaft on my shaft deflection machine I can see why, they have a very stiff tip and mid section and a soft butt section, so the shaft loads more and feels really good, the more the shaft loads the faster the shaft will accelerate through impact and help the player square up the face, that coupled with the stiff tip & mid sections, the ball will roll out after it lands because the spin is lower, if your present shaft is to soft in the mid and tip sections the launch is to high with too much spin which will reduce roll out, the ball plugs or balloons during flight resulting in lost distance with no roll out, if the butt is stiffer the shaft doesn't load as much as a soft butt, thereby reducing feel and load is greatly reduced, when the shaft doesn't load because of a stiff butt, the
player not only losses distance because the shaft isn't helping him or her, but they lose accuracy from not having a softer butt section that loads more and it doesn't help square up the face, it will also make the player swing harder to get more load which doesn't help either and causes more spin and off center hits.
The shaft is the engine of the club, when it is correct the player has to not swing as hard thereby using the load that is produced by the soft butt to get his or her swing speed at maximum at impact, instead of starting fast and then slowing up at the ball.
Length also increases the shafts ability to load more than a shorter shaft, because the place where the shaft gets trimmed to make it shorter is the butt, once that is done the butt will play stiffer instead of softer, thereby lowering the kick point, which is what the stiffness of the shafts butt section is.
So we know this shaft has a soft butt and a stiff mid and tip section, so if your tired of getting out driven by your buddies, it's
time to step up to a quality aftermarket shaft designed to increase your distance, give you feel and lower your spin to get the most out of your driver, if you really want to add more distance then think about stepping up and going with the longer 46.
5 inch driver shaft, the most allowed by the USGA which will add 4-5 more MPH over the 44.
5 inch shaft, I have been playing my driver at this length for years and am a 2 digit handicap golfer even at 68 years old, I have customers that have used the long 46.
5 inch shaft so their driver is 48 inches long like mine and won't ever go back, when you do make the shaf to 46.
5 inches long it increases the shafts kick point even more making the butt even softer, it most cases it also increases your accuracy as well as distance.
