ESL Instructor

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to students - Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students - Utilize instructional design principles to create effective teaching materials - Incorporate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and comprehension - Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements or visual impairments - Provide individualized instruction and tutoring to students as needed - Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum and support student success - Assess student progress and provide feedback on their language development Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field - Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) preferred - Familiarity with instructional strategies for teaching ESL learners - Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies - Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special education needs or visual impairments - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ESL teacher to make a positive impact on the language development of students from diverse backgrounds.
