Arizona State University: Office of the University Provost Downtown: College of Health Solutions Location Phoenix, AZ Open Date Sep 26, 2023 Description Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions (CHS) is seeking a full-time, 12-month research faculty position at the rank of assistant, associate, or full research professor.
The ideal candidate will have a background or interest in the areas of neuro-rehabilitation science, particularly in addressing critical challenges facing aging and/or neurological populations.
Subsequent one-year appointments may be offered, under the same terms and conditions, at the discretion of the college and university and based upon the availability of funding.
Responsibilities for this position include conducting impactful research in the areas noted above, including submission of grant proposals and peer reviewed manuscripts.
Collaboration with current faculty at ASU and CHS is highly encouraged to ensure success in these endeavors.
The College of Health Solutions resides on the Downtown Phoenix campus, a dynamic and growing campus surrounded by other ASU health programs and within the heart of the Phoenix Bioscience Core, a multi-institutional area of the city in which health-related research, education, and collaboration thrives.

Qualifications Required Qualifications Doctorate or terminal degree in a field relevant to rehabilitation science, clinical rehabilitation, and/or applied systems-level neuroscience including related areas in cognition, sensation, perception or motor control.
Evidence of a strong potential to obtain or evidence of a successful history of obtaining extramural funding Evidence of peer-reviewed publications Shows support of ASU’s commitment to inclusive excellence as outlined in the ASU charter Desired Qualifications Expertise and research focus related to motor or cognitive rehabilitation for aging and/or neurological populations Utilization of human neurostimulation, neurofeedback and/or neuroimaging techniques with applications toward rehabilitation Research foci that facilitate translation of science into practice (e.
g.
, clinical trials, dissemination, and implementation research, etc.
) Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in a relevant area Demonstrated ability to work, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse students, colleagues, community partners, and staff in a multicultural environment Evidence of participation in translational, trans-disciplinary, and team science initiatives relevant to CHS research domains Application Instructions Application deadline is December 15, 2023.
