_Coaching special needs students!!!_
Our Therapeutic Support Staff assists the teacher in the classroom by managing student behaviors and working with the students academically.
*Hours are 8:00-3:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
$18 an hour to start* with credit given for relative work experience, credit for degrees, and driving a route for our Ready to Roll department.
You can work up to 9 hours a day by assisting with the transportation of students which would put you into overtime before/ after school pickup and drop-offs.
This is for our campus in Gilbert, AZ.
The support staff has the opportunity to coach our students at recess, P.
E.
class, and other recreational opportunities we have to offer!!! *Caregiver/CNA background welcomed!!*
*Requirements:*
* Ability to lift and pull over 25 lbs.
* Ability to de-escalate situations.
* Ability to teach and redirect students.
* Ability to utilize learned CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) physical management techniques when necessary.
* Ability to document clear and concise daily activities of students.
* Time and Attendance consistency.
*Annual Increase:*
Pay may be increased by $0.
50/hr.
upon presenting a Bachelor's degree and up to $1.
00/hr.
with a Substitute Certificate.
After 1 year of employment, employees are encouraged to apply for their TSS Level 2.
Obtaining Level 2 would increase pay an additional $0.
50/hr.
and include additional responsibilities.
