Price Industries, Inc.
is in search of an Event & Training Coordinator for its growing and newly renovated Price Technical Center West (PTCW) facility, located in Casa Grande, Arizona.
Working alongside and taking direction from the Senior Events Coordinator, the position is responsible for helping support scheduled events, training classes, customer visits, and promotional activities including lodging, logistics, branding, and other on-site elements.
The candidate should have an appreciation for special events management and providing outstanding customer service.
As a Training Coordinator, primary focus is on relevant PTCW training content, professional development hours (PDHs) and learning metrics.
Success is defined by continuously quantifying, improving and optimizing customer training and engagement.
Event Responsibilities
Set-up welcome letters, name tags, marketing materials, gift bags, seating cards and other event materials.
Assist in securing accommodations and meeting room space, arrange food and beverage, greet transportation, and order supplies for our facility in Arizona.
Assist with managing on-site production, greeting guests, act as a host to the guest’s needs and clean-up before and after events as required.
This includes stocking fridges, preparing snack trays, making coffee, washing dishes, and working with the cleaning service and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness of the facilities.
Maintain a well-stocked and accessible supply room of snacks, beverages, and other event materials for events.
Training Responsibilities
Track and award professional development hours (PDH) to customers that visit PTCW
Attend relevant PTCW training events to observe, record and participate in customer engagement as required
Provide a reliable point of contact for all learning and development matters at PTCW
Work with Marketing, Product Teams, and Events in creating relevant training materials including binders and hand-outs
Create, collate, and report on PTCW training evaluation forms and feedback to continue improving content
Assist in other Training initiatives as required including Price Learning Portal (PLP) LMS, training class landing pages, webinars, and relevant training KPI reporting
Qualifications/Education/Relevant Experience/ Skills
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
).
Excellent organizational and communication skills, while maintaining and following company event protocols and procedures.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in person, through email and by phone.
Dependable transportation for required shopping.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Strong professional and ethical conduct
