Job Goal
The Early Childhood Child Find Asssessment Teacher administer assessment for Preschool aged children,
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's Degree
AZ Teaching Certificate
AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Appropriately Certified
3-5 years of experience teaching early childhood special education
Preferred experience administering assessments to children 5 years old and under
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with parents and colleagues
Proficient in writing and understanding IEPs
Core Job Function
Administer initial assessments for preschool-age children
Interpret assessments
Complete MET reports
Participate in screenings
Assist with AzEIP transition meetings
Conduct observations of students in regular education early childhood environments
Provide recommendations to preschool teachers with regard to goals, implementation of IEPs, and implementation of district adopted preschool curriculum
