Plan and design curriculum – based instructional activities that build student competence in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Design appropriate assessments that gauge student mastery of Arizona Common Core Standards.
Provide a strong language model using ASL and written English (i.
e.
, reading, writing, vocabulary and communication skills).
Prepare reports, lesson plans, IEP’s and establish evaluation techniques for assessment of progress and maintain accurate and timely records of student progress.
* Be able to work effectively with a wide range of students
Helping each student learn subject using both American Sign Language and Written English.
Knowledge of student’s needs in the academic, social, and emotional areas.
Must have high energy and a willingness to devote the time required to help students be successful in the content and language acquisition.
