Duties
Job responsibilities include:
Provide social/emotional, physical, cognitive support for children.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to support the educational growth of children.
Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities/experiences to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
Ensure a healthy classroom environment ? including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
Follow all Arizona State licensing guidelines.
Be able to lift and carry children (ages may vary from infants to 5 years old)
Communicate effectively and efficiently with parents through informal discussions, parent-communication app, and parent-teacher conferences
Work cooperatively and respectfully with all team members
Requirements
Must clear full background check.
Must have graduated high school
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
Must be able to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card by AZDPS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of child development and willingness to continue to learning
Ability to work well with others (staff, children, parents) and foster a team environment in the classroom.
Flexible and dependable when it comes to scheduling.
Nice To Haves
Professional childcare experience
AA, BA, or master's degree in early childhood or related field
Ability to work over the summer
Ability to work until close (5:30pm)
