The position includes teaching in the Learning, Design, and Technologies (LDT) online M.
Ed.
program as well as supporting both graduate and undergraduate courses in the field of learning/instructional design and technology.

Essential Duties: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, teaching courses in the Learning Design and Technologies (M.
Ed.
) and related programs, providing service with faculty across programs, the divisions, college, university, and community, and maintaining an active research agenda as applicable.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate by August 16, 2024, from an accredited university in learning design or a related field (e.
g.
, educational technology, instructional technology, instructional design).
Documented evidence of experience teaching in an online program or environment Documented evidence of online course design focused on instructional design, learning design, and/or educational technology Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in instructional design processes and models Demonstrated experience with contemporary learning theory and theories/frameworks for online learning Demonstrated expertise in taking on a leadership role at the programmatic level Demonstrated commitment and expertise in collaborating with diverse populations through research, teaching, and service Demonstrated experience teaching in a multicultural environment or in a setting serving international populations Demonstrated ability to mentor individual students in professional experience settings and research projects.
