Special Needs Teacher

Our organization is looking for an _In-Home Special Needs Homeschool Teacher _who can help students with their coursework and ensure that they are meeting their goals.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work individually with students to identify their unique strengths and weaknesses.
We want someone who can work with a variety of students and shows compassion and care towards the students.
The tutor will serve as a role model and mentor while sharing his or her expertise in a variety of subjects.
*Responsibilities:* * Demonstrate compassion to all students.
* Stay on top of the subject matter.
* Be organized and detail oriented.
* Address questions raised by students during and after sessions.
* Communicate with parents about their child's progress and work habits.
* Maintain professional relationships with students' teachers.
* Able to work 3-6 hours a week.
*Preferred Requirements:* * Preferred: Experience providing in-home services.
* Preferred: ABA and/or experience with individuals diagnosed with special needs.
* Preferred: Experience teaching, tutoring, and/or mentoring.
NOTE: This is not full-time position, it is a _contractor_ position.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary, Internship Pay: $28.
