EdPlus at ASU is a dynamic unit of Arizona State University focused on the design and scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models to increase student success and reduce barriers to achievement in higher education.

Dreamscape Learn (DSL) is a collaborative venture between Dreamscape Immersive and Arizona State University, merging the most advanced experiential pedagogy with the entertainment industry’s best cinematic storytelling.
Our mission is to deliver unique virtual reality and 2D labs and full course experiences which are probably efficacious, readily scalable, and emotionally engaging.
DSL is also a demonstration project for the university wide roll out of the newest design aspiration: practicing principled innovation.
We’re seeking a highly-motivated and energetic Dreamscape Learn Principled Innovation Program Coordinator.
If you are energized by building numerous long-term relationships, this position offers you the chance to meet regularly with consistent cross-functional contributors including faculty, programmers, researchers, and others.
This position coordinates activities and functions of a designated Dreamscape Learn grant program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.
This classification is intended for positions that have responsibility for a particular program; the program provides a specific service or carries out specific activities as a separate entity or as a component program within a department, but it is not a department itself.
Essential Duties: Develop and recommend new or revised program goals and objectives.
Develop and schedule program work plan in accordance with specifications and funding limitations; oversee daily operations and coordinate activities of program; determine priorities.
Monitor and approve program expenditures ensuring that budget allocations are not overspent.
Prepare or assist in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
Confer with and advise staff, students and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answer to questions and program goals and policy interpretation; refer to appropriate department personnel when unable to respond.
Coordinate activities of a program with interrelated activities of other programs, departments or staff to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications.
Prepare periodic reports, financial statements and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
Evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods, analyze results and recommend and/or takes appropriate action.
Develop, compile, and write communications and promotional literature for distribution such as newsletters, brochures or flyers; coordinate process from development through printing and distribution.
Develop and facilitate workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinate logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
Interact and maintain liaison with students, faculty, staff and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
Review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to the program.
Recruits program participants, members and volunteers utilizing most appropriate promotional or marketing methods, such as individual letters, brochures or presentations at meetings.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Six years of progressively responsible administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications: Experience in project or program coordination or management in a higher education setting.
Evidence of knowledge in university policies and structures.
Evidence of effective communication including presentation skills.
Evidence of excellent work ethic, critical thinking skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Evidence of maintaining long-term, positive relationships with a team and external stakeholders.
Experience working on projects involving emerging technology or projects involving character development, or related topics.
Experience in budgeting practices.

Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing.
